OUR INSTITUTION

The Rainha Santa Isabel School Group is located north of the municipality of Coimbra. The head office is located in Ponte de Eiras. It consists of 14 organizational units: EB Rainha Santa Isabel (headquarters), 1st cycle schools and kindergartens.

Since the 2009/10 academic year, the Group has been an Educational Territory for Priority Intervention, and since 2012/13 it has been a School with an Autonomy Contract, establishing partnerships for the articulation of educational resources, reinforcing the School’s educational and training role, namely through opening and insertion in the Community. The vast majority of students live in the northern part of the city. There is also a percentage of 7.3% of students with measures to support learning and inclusion.

WE ARE PART OF THIS PROJECT BECAUSE WE WANT TO…

The fact that we are an Educational Territory of Priority Intervention (TEIP) means that we need to innovate, diversify and learn through the exchange of practices that become effective and appropriate to our population, promoting educational success, the motivation of teachers, and students. students, reducing school dropout, increasing student qualifications in the future, as well as increasing adaptability / adjusted behavior skills, with a view to good socio-professional adaptation.
